908 children served since 1999
The Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. said:
“Life’s most urgent question is: What are you doing for others?”
In 1999 members of the community came together to provide a “Random Act of Musical Kindness” to 24 homeless children from the St. Vincent de Paul Village founded by Fr. Joe Carroll.
The first year we had 3 limos and 24 children. Then on September 11, 2001 the Port Authority of New York/New Jersey lost 37 heroes that helped others without regards to themselves. In our own small way, we decided to take this event up another level and have ALL the children from the Village share in this celebration. That year and every year since, 90+ children have been chauffeured in 11 stretch limousines to enjoy a wonderful evening.
To donate to the success of this year’s event please: Click here $40 sponsors a child, $400 sponsors an entire limo of children.
